Had an amazing time with my friends! We visited the nearby Sandy Hole and explored a local distillery. The staff was super friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. Be ready for a lively atmosphere. the music from the bar goes on until midnight. It's a perfect spot for a weekend getaway.
Unfortunately, my room wasn't ready at check-in, and I ended up in a room without a bathroom, which was inconvenient.

The record player and vinyl collection in the room provided a unique touch, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Proximity to the River Spey allows for scenic walks right at your doorstep.
The interior feels tired and worn, with heavily stained beige carpets in the hallways. Rooms facing the street suffer from significant traffic noise, which can disrupt sleep. There were also quirks with room accessibility, requiring two hands to manage the key and handle simultaneously, particularly inconvenient when carrying items. Housekeeping could be more attentive, as we found tea bags and cups left in our room, and one room lacked a hairdryer, which caused delays in the morning. The outdated bathroom arrangement, with separate keys for access, feels unnecessary and disrupts the flow of getting ready.

Charming Family Retreat with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed a two-night stay in a spacious family room. The Saturday evening meal was delightful, especially the local dishes. Breakfast needs attention. my request for a properly cooked meal fell short. Opt for Saturday dining for a better experience. Check out local attractions nearby, truly charming!

Loved the unique vinyl record player in the room. Traffic noise could be a problem at night. Lots to explore nearby, like nice walks along the river. Breakfast was great with local flavors!

Fresh berries and a great breakfast stood out during my stay. The rooms were equipped with a surprising touch—a record player—and were clean and spacious, which heightened the experience. The staff was extremely friendly and offered quick service. the building's age was noticeable in some areas, and a few amenities could be updated to enhance comfort.

the only downside was that the shower could've been a bit more powerful and the food could be better. also, i wish we could've stayed longer!
